ANN E. DEATON, CIMA
Senior Managing Director
Ann E. Deaton is a Senior Managing Director and Head of the Houston office for Angeles Wealth Management. Ann has over twenty-five years of investment experience assisting families, pension plans, foundations and endowments and corporations in developing investment guidelines, structuring asset allocation programs, manager searches and performance analysis. Prior to joining Angeles, Ann was a Senior Managing Director with US Capital Advisors. Ann serves on the Foundation Board of Goodwill Industries Houston and serves on the Board of Girl Scouts of San Jacinto. She is also a member of the Alexis de Tocqueville Society of the United Way of Houston, the United Way Women’s Initiative and is a past president of Texas Executive Women. She has been recognized often for her commitment to the Houston community. Her honors include being named a Role Model by the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce, named a Woman Who Means Business by the Houston Business Journal, and she has also been named One of the 50 Most Influential Women in Houston by Houston Woman Magazine. Ann is also a member of Class XXX of the American Leadership Forum, and a member of the International Women’s Forum. Ann received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then attended the University of California at Berkeley, earning her Master’s in Public Policy with a specialty in Economics. Additionally, she received her CIMA (Certified Investment Management Analyst) degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to work and her community activity, Ann enjoys playing golf and spending time at her farm.
